Under this Agreement, National Association of Health Education & Wellness Inc. (NAHEW) (www.NAHEW.com) dba SharingWellnessInfo.com furnishes on-line information and services to registered members or authorized users on a subscription basis. By accepting the Terms and Conditions when registering or if you use the Service or Site in any way, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
All memberships are subject to renewal at the end of the their term. You will be notified by email 45 days prior to expiration of your membership. A membership subscription may be cancelled at anytime prior to the renewal date by sending an email to unsubscribe@SharingWellnessInfo.com requesting cancellation.
Disclaimer: All contents of the Service are provided for information purposes only. You agree that the Service should not be interpreted as medical advice, as an endorsement of any web site/listing/product/source, or as any statement or opinion in regards to health care in general. Member Responsibility: Membership is restricted to those 18 years of age and above, and/or, those of legal majority.
You also agree that you will not reveal log-ins and/or passwords to non-members outside of your own membership. We reserve the right to cancel any Membership, without refund. Cancellation may occur if we discover that an Individual or Family Membership account is being used by a non-member, or if a log-in/password is shared with anyone outside the member's own membership as defined by our membership guidelines ( put a link here).
Cancellation may also occur if we discover that a Business Membership account is being used by a non-member or person other than the member or authorized designee, or if a log-in/password is shared with anyone outside the member's own membership as defined by our membership guidelines ( put a link here).
All comments, feedback, suggestions and ideas disclosed, submitted or offered to the Service or in connection with your use of this Site, shall be and remain the exclusive property of the Service. Your name may be used should you submit an editorial comment to our e-publications.
You agree that we are not responsible for your inability to log-on to the Service, either because of poor Internet connections, incorrect typing of log-ins or passwords, and/or browser incompatibility. We will make every effort to ensure that our servers remain operational with adequate performance and response time. However, there may be times when our servers are down or response time is slow due to power outages, network problems, regular maintenance, or high traffic volumes. This Agreement shall be deemed to have been made in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The parties expressly stipulate to jurisdiction in City of Alexandria, Virginia, or the United States District Court, Alexandria, Virginia District, as appropriate.
Members certify that they are participating for the purposes of gaining education or information only and are joining representing only themselves and their immediate family members (up to 5) and are not an agent or representative of any federal, state, county, or local government or private agency on a mission of investigation.
Internal Security: Some of the security procedures that SharingWellnessInfo.com employs to protect your privacy and security include, but are not limited to:
- Require both a personal username and a password in order for members to access their personally identifiable information and/or Wellness Journey data.
- Use firewalls to protect information held on servers
- Use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption in transmitting financial information to our servers. In order to take advantage of encryption technology, you must have an Internet browser which supports 128-bit encryption.
- Closely monitor the limited number of NAHEW employees who have potential access to your personally identifiable information.
- Require all NAHEW employees to abide by our Privacy Policy and be subject to disciplinary action if they violate it.
- Back-up our system to protect the integrity of your personal health information and Wellness Journey data.
Despite NAHEW's efforts to protect your personal health information (Wellness Journey) and identity, there is always some risk that an unauthorized third party may find a way around our security systems or that transmission of your information over the Internet may be intercepted.
Privacy Policy: SharingWellnessInfo.com recognizes the importance of privacy in health care. We value and protect your right to keep confidential any of your personal information. - Track anonymous user traffic patterns throughout our site
- Do not track your personally identifiable information
- Analysis of Wellness Journeys will be done only through aggregated data that retains no personally identifiable information and is for statistical and patterning analysis only. This analysis is also only for the use of NAHEW and SharingWellnessInfo.com and not available for third party sales or vendors.
- Wellness Journeys are shared for the benefit of others seeking common experiences and information. However, sharing of Wellness Journey information via the site will only be done using anonymous identifiers.
- Users always remain anonymous at SharingWellnessInfo.com (only exception is to the very small number of staff that administer the site and databases).
Use of traffic pattern information:
- SharingWellnessInfo.com uses this information to determine which areas of the site are most popular with our users, based on traffic to those areas.
- SharingWellnessInfo.com tracks how each page performs overall to help us continually build a better service for the customer.
Message Boards and other Public Forums: As a service to our users, NAHEW may feature message boards, chat rooms and other public forums where users with similar interests or medical conditions can share information and support one another or where users can post questions for experts to answer.
