CDC's Published Symptoms of ADHD
CDC has published criteria for diagnosing ADHD based on the year 2000 Diagnostic & Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders (DSM-IV-TR). CDC has modified the criteria somewhat to make it more accessible to the general public. The criteria are listed for information purposes only and should be used only by trained health-care providers to diagnose or treat ADD/ADHD.

This paper was written by an adult who has diagnosed attention deficit disorder about her own disorder and how it affects her as a person, a mother, a wife, and a student. Music for Life Programs--A Pioneering Intervention for Those with Autism
This program puts children with autism together with seniors at Green Briar Adult Home in Millbrook in Dutchess County, NY to sing and music-making. The sessions are informal with participants and residents closely interacting through the music. The program has been ongoing since 2004.

Nattokinase
Nattokinase is a potent fibrinolytic enzyme extracted and highly purified from a traditional Japanese food called Natto. Natto is a fermented cheese-like food that has been used in Japan for over 1000 years. Only the natto preparation of the boiled soybeans contains the nattokinase enzyme that has shown the ability to dissolve blood clots. Natto has traditionally been used to lower blood pressure and in 1995 researchers confirmed the lowering effect on blood pressure because of its ability to inhibit angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE). Research has shown that it can also be used preventively.
