Goodbye to Guilt
by Gerald G. Jampolsky

Although this book was written some time ago, it is based on Jerry's own experiences and A Course in Miracles. It is a personal story of Jerry's learning how to let go of guilt in his own personal growth--written as he was traveling the new-to-him road of a recovering alcoholic.

Jerry talks to the reader and explains that he grew up thinking he could never do anything right in a world where the love you got depended upon how well you performed--therefore, he grew up believing he was unlovable. During his recovery and studying A Course In Miracles, he began to understand that we are loved just because we are, just because we exist.

The first half of the book is really about his journey through guilt to a healthier relationship with himself. The second half o the book is a series of lessons. Examples: Forgiveness Heals and Ends the Game of Guilt, Choosing Love Offers Me Freedom from Fear, I Will Not Hurt Myself Again Today, Let Me Not See Myself As Limited, Let Peace Replace All My Fear Thoughts Today, Giving Love Away is How I Keep It.

If you struggle with guilt, have a good read!
