Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah
|
| This little book starts off with a handwritten poem (in my favorite edition, at least) and goes on to tell the adventures of an "ordinary" man living an "ordinary" life who gets put on a pedestal, develops followers, and has the clarity to walk away back into his ordinary life. This book is rich with imagery and is one I come back to about once a year to restore my soul and my sense of self. |
