Riding the Intuitive Wave
|
| This book is the chronological story of how Linda Eastburn studied and learned to be an intuitive who is able to do remote viewing and health intuitive readings for people at a distance. She took classes and she also was ingenious in her own explorations to prove to herself whether there was substance or accuracy to her "readings". For example, when she started to have an interest in remote viewing, she used a local phone book and would randomly select an address, then focus on the address and write down what she would "see" and what other information she received while remote viewing. Then she would drive to the address and write down what was actually there. She kept at this task until she arrived at a point of 80-85% accuracy before exploring the next step in her learning. In the book, Linda provides directions for developing your own intuition more fully. This is the first book I've come across that has an entire section on ethics with intuition. It encourages readers to be responsible in their use of intuition, to be aware that one's thoughts do affect others, to be ethical in applying one's intuitive powers, and to be clear about one's intentions. The book is a quick and interesting read. And, for those who aren't sure about intuition, it's interesting to read about Linda's own doubts and her business career prior to becoming an intuitive.
