Seasons of April: How to Help Your Kids Succeed
|
| This book is written as if it were written by Raymon to his daughter and covers the 17 years of her life. For many of those years--in fact, from before her birth, Raymon was talking to April and "programming" her for success as a human being. The book is touching; it is revealing a way of thinking that harks back to the indigenous way of thinking about raising children...in this time. It is inspiring. It includes information about home schooling and transitioning from home to public school. This is not a "how to parent" book in the sense of someone lecturing you on how to be a parent--rather it provides insight into how one parent has parented in a no longer traditional way. Those who are interested in teaching their children how to think, how to determine their own set of ethics and morals, how to stand tall in their own beingness will want to read this book--and give copies to friends. Published by Hampton Roads and available from http://www.raymongrace.us/ You can learn more about Raymon at www.raymongrace.us |
