Love Without End
|
| This is Glenda's story of finding herself, an artist, quite unexpectedly and somewhat disbelievingly in the presence of Jesus while he posed for her to paint his portrait. It is a book about Love in the Universal sense--and contains a lot of the dialogue between Glenda and Jesus that occurred while she was painting him. I found myself making notes in all the white spaces in the front and back of the book of "quotes" I wanted to remember. Examples: There are three misconceptions for us to leave behind/forget: 1) that the body and the spirit are separate, 2) spirit forms a complementary duality with the body, and 3) there are multiple spirits and coalitions of spirits battling for world dominion. The most critical recognition for humankind now is: a dualistic approach to living is no longer useful. The mind is the servant, not the master. As a man loves, so he is. As he believes, so he becomes. |
